iPod Touch and iPhone games for nothing

by John Walters

You’re reading this because the title caught your attention. You’ve gone out and bought the new iPod Touch and have realised that it comes with an awesome gaming feature. You are now not only able to listen to music on the move, but you can play great games for free.

The games you can play range from the classic games like chess, bejewelled and battleships to the games which take advantage of the accelerometer in the iPod Touch. You can tilt the iPod Touch to play the game. Be careful, it’s hard to do whilst travelling!

It doesn’t matter if you have an iPod Touch or iPhone as these games will work on both of them. The iPod Touch and the iPhone are pretty similar when it comes to applications and what will work on what.

All the iPod Touch games here are free. You don’t have to pay a penny for them. Some require you to transfer them to the iPod Touch whereas a lot of them only require you to just access a web page over WIFI.

These games are playable online or offline. You don’t necessarily have to download them to your iPod Touch.

Although the games use up your battery, you will get a lot of playing time off one charge. If they are on your iPod Touch you can play them anywhere. You don’t have to be connected to the internet or WIFI. There are some top games out there so you won’t be short of being entertained on the move.

The iPod Touch comes in several sizes and prices. The good thing about these free iPod Touch games is that they take little or no space up on your iPod Touch. The ones which don’t require download do not take up any of your precious memory space.

There are so many games out there. Here are a few:

Scramboni: This is a multiplayer online game that requires you to decode words by clicking on tiles that appear on your screen. You win points for getting the words correctly with addition bonus points for fast fingers.

Soduko Game: Classic Sudoku for your iPod and iPhone.
